First came the stories. So many stories. I devoured the stories. Books, television, movies…And I told stories. Always to myself: to fill the silence, to take me away.

Then came the writing. Years and years of writing. I shared some of it, but it was still just for me. I tend to write science fiction, fantasy, or something that straddles that line.

Now I’m out here. Tossing my words to the wind and hoping they take root. Maybe you’ll find new friends within my pages; maybe they’ll keep you company or encourage you or show you that you aren’t alone. Maybe my worlds are the escape you need, a place to run to–to rest or grow or discover. Maybe my stories will inspire your own; maybe my words will grow in your imagination and blossom into new worlds and new characters and new stories. Maybe they’ll just be a temporary distraction, soon forgotten.

And just think: however you found them, however they leave you, they have, for a time, brought us together, and that, in itself, is magic.
